The Lakeland Music Club, an organization that fosters and supports all music and offers scholarships to young area musicians, is marking its 100th year with a Centennial Celebration on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. This event is free and open to the public.
The program will feature artist Rebecca Renfroe-Borneman, a former Lakeland Music Club Scholarship winner; Dolly Roberts, Imperial Symphony Orchestra harpist; Harrison School of the Arts students led by instrumental director Rob Lambert and choral director Suzi Lambert; and special guest Bill Muntz, Mayor of Lakeland.
The Centennial Celebration will be held at the United Women’s Clubhouse, 1515 Williamsburg Square in Lakeland. Social time for the festivities starts at 10 a.m. and the program begins at 10:30.
